We have a newopportunity for an Energy and Resources Lawyer or Associate to joinour Corporate and Commercial section in Perth.

Our Corporateand Commercial section has over 65 members nationally, and is knownfor its energy, business insight and legal expertise –nationally and internationally. We give clients commerciallyfocused legal advice on all aspects of corporate law and regulationaffecting public and private companies, private equity firms andmanagement teams. Our expertise spans mergers andacquisitions, equity capital markets, commercial contracting,compliance (including regulatory, corporate governance anddirectors’ duties), intellectual property, andprivacy.

This rolewill see the successful candidate work directly with a highlyexperienced and well-regarded Partner, and a team of corporatelawyers and Partners nationally.

Youwill be involved in a variety of mattersincluding :

• mergersand acquisitions (M&A);
• equitycapital markets (ECM) transactions;
• jointventures, offtake and farm-ins;
• regulatory, complianceand corporate governance advice; and

Aboutyou

You Willideally have the following skills and experience :

• 2 - 4years’ of post-admission experience gained in a corporateand commercial law practice;
• experience in the energyand resources sector, including a strong knowledge of relevantlaws and regulations;
• corporate / commercial lawexperience (including transaction document drafting andassisting with due diligences);
• excellent analytical,problem-solving, research and communication skills
• outstanding attention todetail;
• agenuine passion for and interest in contributing to the growthand success of our corporate practice, both in Perth andnationally; and
• ateam-player who can also work autonomously, within a supportiveand collaborative environment.
