Android Developer

Our client is one of Australia's largest e-commerce businesses and they are looking for an Android Engineer to join their team. This is a technology-focused business that values and puts its people first.

You will have the opportunity to work on a brand new greenfield project which is part of a wider highly-rated e-commerce app used by millions and built with modern Android tech and best industry practices. Their codebase is Kotlin & Jetpack Compose and the technical leaders follow all the best practices set out by Google for native Android development.

Requirements :

• Proven commercial Android development experience
• Fluency in Kotlin
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience with Coroutines
• Experience with MVVM design pattern
• Experience across the full development lifecycle of native Android applications
• Strong experience with Unit & UI testing
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
