Social Worker / Occupational Therapist Grade 3 - CATT / Triage / EPS at Alfred Health. Permanent, full-time or part-time positions available (64 or 80 hours + ADO negotiable). Located at The Alfred.
Responsibilities
- Provide services across Crisis Assessment and Treatment, Triage, Emergency Psychiatry and APACER.
- Work within the Emergency Psychiatry team to deliver timely and effective care, support recovery, and contribute to professional development of clinicians.
About The Role
The Emergency Psychiatry team is composed of dedicated mental health clinicians. The role offers opportunity to work across multiple streams depending on demand in a supportive team environment. The department focuses on people with mental illness in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne and is part of Alfred Mental & Addiction Health.
About You
Social Worker : Approved Social Work degree or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Postgraduate studies in mental health are highly desirable.Occupational Therapist : Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA, with tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy and a postgraduate certificate in mental health (or equivalent) with eligibility for membership of OT Australia, Victoria.Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience. Previous work in an acute community mental health setting. Drug and alcohol experience is required.Other relevant qualifications or ongoing study in areas such as drug and alcohol, psychosocial or therapeutic interventions are desirable.Australian working rights, satisfactory Working with Children Check, and current influenza vaccination.What\'s In It For You
