Mechanical Project Engineer (90M0681978) Preston, Melbourne, Australia

Salary : AUD90000 - AUD110000 per annum

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Machine Design and concept development.
  • Project Management including liaising directly with clients and managing project schedules.
  • Executing Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.
  • Conducting Risk Assessment (AS4024) and upholding Quality Assurance standards.
  • Utilizing hands-on skills in the workshop for assembly, testing, and crucial problem-solving.
  • Travel will be required for machinery installation, client training, and commissioning.

What You'll Bring to the Team :

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in automation machinery, packaging equipment, or similar industrial applications.
  • Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Qualifications
  • Experience in the field of Automation required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD / Inventor with a proven ability to create Mechanical Designs, Pneumatic Circuits, Electrical Schematics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for client and team engagement.
  • A high level of self-motivation, reliability, and thorough commitment to project success.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and motion control is a significant advantage.
