Previous experience with spinal injuries, nursing, aged care or disability support. Willingness to be trained to the highest level through our experienced team. A valid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle. A smartphone device. NDIS Workers Screening Card and / or Working with Children card, or willingness to apply. Overview
Experienced Personal Support Workers role at Spinal Life Australia .
Join our Flexible Support Team to work with the Complex Care team and support clients with high needs to live independently in their own homes. You will work under the guidance and instruction of our Key Workers and Community Nurse Clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Providing Personal Support to clients with a spinal injury, combined with other complex health, medical or aged care needs.
- Providing ventilated care and support.
- Toileting, Bladder and Bowel Management, including Catheter and STOMA Care Management.
- PEG meal supplements and Feeding.
- Passive exercises and in-home rehabilitation exercise programs.
- Assistance with medication and basic wound care management.

We are looking for dedicated, empathetic and resilient professionals with experience in providing high care for clients. As an adaptable person, you’ll enjoy working across different areas, meeting a variety of clients, while maintaining high-quality support.
