Hexagon Autonomous Solution comprises of three divisions : Agriculture, Autonomy & Positioning and Mining.

The Project : Hexagon has partnered with our mining client to develop an autonomous haulage solution for a will deploy and operate a world-first fleet of 120 fully Autonomous Road Trains to carry ore 150km to the Port. The solution, which includes drive-by-wire technology and an autonomous management system, is a truck-agnostic, full-site solution designed to streamline vehicle movement in road-train haulage.

Position : Reporting to the Site Verification & Validation Manager, in our development project team for a 12mth Fixed term contract. This role will see you work across multiple teams inclusive of product and field-based engineers, based locally & globally (USCA / LATM Europe) to ensure a cohesive validation and verification plan is established. In addition, your duties / responsibilities will include, not limited to;

Technical

• Write autonomous site system validation and verification plans for site system features that require interconnection between multiple products
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and robustness test strategies across product V&V teams
• Integrate functional safety testing requirements into the overall autonomous site system V&V strategy

This position is based in Wangara, Perth at our Project Office. In addition as it works with international teams it may require some ad hoc evening or early AM meeting's; therefore workplace flexibility is supported.
