The key responsibilities for this role include the following, but not limited to :
Supervises the day-to-day activities of the assigned CTP claims unit and provides advice to team on claims management, policy guidelines and qualityInitiate new ideas and concepts to support the development and delivery of the business plan for the business unit.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of claims management strategies and objectivesDevelop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both statutory and corporate service standards and statutory regulationsContinuous business process improvement including process and cost efficiencies / synergiesSetting reserves and authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursementsHandling of complaints and investigations of suspicious / fraudulent insurance claimsProvide technical expertise and mentoring to assist the team developmentAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have :
