Superior Care Group is a privately owned Commonwealth approved aged provider, operating since 1979. We seek a Head of Hotel Services to support the team with to deliver an excellent service to our 94 residents within our Wellington Point aged care service. The Head of Hotel services is responsible for overseeing our home's cooking, cleaning, laundry and maintenance functions, and reports to the Centre Manager. This position is full time Monday - Friday.
- Key Responsibilities
- The Head of Hotel Services will provide expert knowledge and skills to the environmental services department within the home. This is achieved in consultation with the Centre Manager and the multidisciplinary team.
- The Head of Hotel Services provides leadership in all aspects of the services operations of the home. They work collaboratively with all levels of management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff and relevant community agencies to facilitate an effective resident focused service.
- The Head of Hotel is available to guide and assist the on-site staff out of hours to resolve irregular situations. The Head of Hotel must be available by phone when not on-site and return calls within a reasonable timeframe.
- Manage and lead the day to day hotel service operations (catering, cleaning, laundry, maintenance and gardens), hotel service team and all resources available in the home within budgetary requirements and in an efficient and effective manner.
- To oversee all aspects of hotel servicing operations, stocking, budgeting and compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation.
- To ensure the comprehensive provision of Maintenance Services (including quick repairs, replacement and management of external contractors). This includes managing all building and equipment maintenance and repairs.
