The opportunity We're looking for a people-focused Operations Manager to lead the team at our popular Iglu Central Park property. This is a unique opportunity to manage a large, purpose-built student accommodation building, overseeing the day-to-day operations while delivering an exceptional resident experience. You'll also be responsible for driving commercial performance and ensuring outcomes align with the needs of our resident community, university partners, and Iglu's core values framework.
Key tasks and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following :
Foster a safe, inclusive, and vibrant living experience for students through strong operational management and a creative community program. Lead, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service and create a great place to work. Oversee the property's commercial performance including sales, budgets, business planning, and monthly reporting. Do you have what it takes? To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes :
Relevant degree and / or five years relevant experience Experience leading and managing a team Dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience Ability to deal with and navigate challenging situations Strong business acumen and demonstrated financial skills Experience with StarRez (desirable) or similar customer management system Flexibility and readiness to respond to business needs, which may include working outside of standard business hours on occasion What's in it for you?
