Who are we looking for?

We're working on an exciting assignment with a top tier mining Company for a commercial lawyer to join us, and kick-start their LOD career with this assignment based in Perth.

This assignment will see you advising on a range of matters including commercial contracts, licensing arrangements, shareholder agreements, regulatory compliance through to litigation. You will focus on legal aspects of projects related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities that support mining operations, such as transportation networks, accommodation camps, power and water facilities and other essential infrastructure. You will also be working on miscellaneous property and generalist safety and tenure queries. This opportunity offers a full-time assignment and initially runs for 6 months with possible extension.

To join us, you will :

• Have at least 5-10 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
• Be experienced in commercial law and or litigation.
• Be client centric - commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
• Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships
• Have previous experience providing legal advice in non-processing infrastructure (mining)
