SENIOR CLAIMS SERVICE CONSULTANT (MOTOR) – CUSTOMER & OPERATIONS – AU WIDE
- Available to work from either the Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Perth office
- Must be willing to work on a rotating roster (8 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Sydney time), Monday to Friday
- Must be able to work fully onsite during the first week of employment for the training period

About the role
Managing a portfolio of claims from validation to finalisation, ensuring timely communication and adherence to AAL’s Claims Management Process.Applying sound decision-making in assessing liability and authorising payments within delegated authority, while ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.Delivering a positive and empathetic customer experience through accurate, timely, and effective claims handling.Coaching and mentoring less experienced team members to support capability development within the team.Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and optimise claim outcomes.About you
Tertiary and / or industry-recognised qualifications in insurance or a related field.Proven experience managing complex claims within a matrixed general insurance environment, with strong technical capability in motor claims; additional background in farm motor is highly regarded.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build capability within a claims team in a collaborative environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information, extract insights, and support sound decision-making.High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong proficiency in insurance systems, reporting tools, and documentation standards.A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.Benefits and perks
