Our growing team of aviation specialists provides support to our clients in the areas of aerodrome design project management and construction maintenance technical inspections and aerodrome surveys operational readiness airport security training regulatory compliance audits and ongoing daily operations.
About the role
AMS has an exciting fulltime opportunity for a Trainer / Assessor to join our dedicated team at our head office located near Perth Airport. As our training program expands youll play a key role in delivering engaging highquality material to support and develop aerodrome professionals. You can expect to deliver training 3 weeks of each month with courses delivered either in Perth or on site in regional and remote locations primarily within WA. Courses are delivered in accordance with AMS Registered Training Organisation (RTO) policies and procedures and you may be required to provide consultancy services to clients regarding maintaining CASA and other regulatory requirements.
About You
AMS will provide ongoing training and professional development to support this next step in your career but youll already be off to a great start if you have previous experience in the following areas :
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
Strong written verbal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Experience using learning management systems (aXcelerate or similar)
Excellent time management and ability to work independently and proactively
Previous experience in technical writing (e.g. policies procedures reports manuals etc.
Excellent presentation skills including ability to present short courses online
Familiarity with validation practices unpacking units of competency including designing course content (PowerPoint presentations session plans learner resources online content)
Ability to provide a National Police Clearance record.
Industry experience in aerodrome operations or a related area will be viewed favorably along with an understanding of CASAs part 139 and associated legislation.
