Job descriptionForklift License : A valid forklift license is essential for this position. Physical Fitness : Must be physically fit as manual gas bottle filling is part of the role. Experience : Proven experience as a forklift operator (FLT experience) and in manual handling tasks. Team Player : A strong emphasis on safety and working within a team. Reliability : Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and workplace integrity. Ability to Learn : Willingness and ability to learn new skills and participate in continuous training. Working Rights : Must have unlimited working rights within Australia (Working Holiday or Student Visa holders need not apply) . Location Requirement : Must live within 25 minutes of the site to accommodate shift times and travel considerations (important in Sydney due to traffic issues). Rotating Shifts include the below Day Shift $36 ph (5 : 00 AM to 1 : 30 PM) Afternoon Shift $41.40 ph (1 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM) Safety-Conscious : Must be committed to adhering to safety standards and regulations. Reliable and Dependable : The role requires someone who shows up on time and completes their tasks without supervision. Team-Oriented : Ability to collaborate effectively with a team to achieve operational goals. Intelligent & Adaptable : The role requires quick learning and the ability to adapt to changing procedures and processes. Ongoing, stable position with opportunities for growth within the company. We are seeking a Process Operator with a LF licence to join our team. This role requires an individual who is experienced in operating forklifts and is physically fit to manually fill gas bottles. The position offers a rotating rosters of day and afternoon shifts, and you will be part of a dynamic team focused on safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities :
- Forklift Operation : Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manual Gas Bottle Filling : Physically fill gas bottles with accuracy and attention to safety.
- Monitoring & Storing Gas Products : Ensure correct monitoring, storing, and handling of different gas products.
- General Warehouse Duties : Assist in maintaining warehouse operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Safety Adherence : Always adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
