Job OverviewThe Physiotherapy Receptionist / Administrator will play a critical role in the daily operations of our clinic. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to our team of physiotherapists. Your role will be essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
- Requirements
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in administration or healthcare are a plus.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a similar environment.
- Skills
- Excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with Cliniko software.
- Personal Attributes
- Friendly, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Appointment Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments as necessary. Coordinate with physiotherapists to optimise their schedules.
- Billing and Payments
- Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and coordinate with insurance companies as needed.
- Medical Records
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and filed correctly.
- Office Coordination
- Order and manage office supplies, coordinate equipment maintenance, and ensure the clinic is organised and well-maintained.
- Team Support
- Assist physiotherapists with administrative tasks, such as preparing treatment rooms, managing patient forms, and other duties as required.

Pay : From $28.09 per hour
