We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Account Executive to join our growing foodservice team.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the newly created role of "Account Executive" will support the national foodservice team with sales analysis, customer submissions, sales & marketing presentations, promotion management and channel improvement projects. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their sales career and develop into account management.
Assist the national foodservice team with delivery of both top line sales and margin contribution budget as well as execution of the national sales strategy.
Control and deliver agreed trade promotional spend for major identified customers groups.
Assist the team with customer administration and communication on a range of aspects such as price file, price list, trade presenter and marketing collateral etc.
Undertake sales analysis and reporting for the foodservice team including monthly / weekly reporting - scorecards, KPI tracking, monthly sales updates etc.
Act as the promotional program coordinator to optimise and manage required activities.
Support and execute sales training plans and collateral as required.
Identify and validate new customer opportunities.
To develop your account management experience, component of the role is customer facing, so you will be responsible for developing and executing customer plans.
Develop, grow and maintain relationships with key account customers to support business objectives.
Support the account team in developing and delivering customer review presentations
Play a pivotal role in the demand planning process for the account team.
Skills and Experience
FMCG experience is favorable with a background in customer selling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset as this role will assist in the development of selling tools for the team.
Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility with internal and external customers at all levels
Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning.
Developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs.
Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
