Maintenance Fitter

Location :  Dandenong South

Pay Rate : $50 per hour

Hours : Monday to Friday – 7 : 00am to 3 : 00pm

Start : Immediate start available

About the Role : We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter to join our team in the timber processing industry. This hands-on role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and supporting production to ensure minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on timber processing machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise production delays
• Install, repair, and replace mechanical components including motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems
• Ensure all maintenance tasks meet safety regulations and company standards
• Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and complete job cards in a timely manner
• Participate in scheduled shutdowns and assist with machine upgrades
