Labour Hire or Non-ongoing)Position SummaryThe Secretariat Officer will provide high level secretariat functions for key meetings that support the achievement of governance and assurance arrangements for the Program.
- Specific Duties / Responsibilities
- Ensure Secretariat outcomes are achieved on time and to quality standards through contributing to the management of end-to-end meeting planning, development and implementation for the governance forums.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, including reserving meeting rooms, arranging for necessary equipment etc.
- Coordinate meeting paper preparation and publication.
- Contribute to the development of meeting agendas.
- Attending and supporting PSMB governance forum meetings as required.
- Recording outcomes of meetings accurately.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and strengthen governance practices.
- Essential Skills / Experience
- Secretariat experience
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and coordination skills in order to deliver high quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Drafting of high-level written material, submissions and briefs.
- Stakeholder engagement regarding complex matters.
- Sound interpersonal, judgement and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office
- To be successful in this role, the individual will need a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
