The APS 6 Secretariat Officer will work independently under the guidance of the Assistant Director to achieve the required work outcomes. They will exercise both initiative and judgement and be able to prioritise work as it comes to hand. The APS 6 Secretariat Officer will be required to have a high level of stakeholder engagement and be able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels in relation to their respective committees. They will be required to respond to stakeholders needs to achieve work outcomes.
The APS 6 Secretariat Officer will be able to provide efficient and effective secretariat services including meeting preparation and coordination, liaison with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, preparation of papers and assist in the preparation of detailed and accurate outcomes for committee meetings.
