We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team and assist with providing support for our clients across our Supported Independent Living properties. You will be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to promote opportunities for meaningful participation and active inclusion in society.

How You Will Make a DifferenceAssist clients in meeting their independent living skills and capacity building needsSupporting clients with developing their communication and social skillsLead by example, provide guidance and assistance in domestic duties including meal preparation and light household cleaningRecord participants achievements, requirements and reinforce positive behaviours.Understanding trauma informed practices and implementing Behaviour Support Plans.Actively participate in staff meetings and training.Selection CriteriaExperience working with clients with intellectual or mental health disabilities.Experience working with challenging behaviours.Ability to work with and mentor clients.Ability to follow direction and work autonomously, both independently and as a team.Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect the client you're supporting.Current Driver's license, own vehicle with comprehensive insuranceValid Working with Children CheckCertificate III in Disability and related training and / or qualifications will be highly regard.Please note only selected applicants will be notified for an interview
