Reporting to the Director - ICT Procurement, the Assistant Director - ICT Procurement leads multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality delivery of a range of procurement and contract management activities.
The Assistant Director - ICT Procurement, is primarily responsible for procuring a broad range of ICT products and services for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), Department of Education and other portfolio agencies.

The occupant of this role will manage a small team of ICT procurement officers, provide accurate procurement related advice, draft documentation in preparation for market approaches, seek quotes, and create / maintain system related procurement entries and records. The occupant will need to be motivated, well organised, and have demonstrated procurement knowledge / experience.
The Assistant Director has a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the consistent delivery of procurement and contract management services.
