Your new team – “ARC Centre of Excellence for the Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems (MACSYS)”
Established in 2024, our interdisciplinary team at MACSYS brings together biologists, computer scientists, physicists and mathematicians at various career stages to actively tackle the mathematical modelling of bacterial and yeast cells.
The MACSYS team is coordinated across five universities who contribute to our research and cultural activity, with the lead node established at The University of Melbourne within the Faculty of Science.
About the role
As Indigenous Outreach and Education Coordinator for MACSYS, you'll play a important role in bridging mathematics and biology through innovative education and community engagement.
You will lead, develop and implement strategies to enhance Indigenous participation in STEM, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive impactful outreach initiatives.
