- Planner
- to join our team based in the UAJV office in the Perth CBD. In this role you will liaise closely with our site team in Karratha as well as estimators, engineers, materials coordinators and HSEQ.
This role is due to commence immediately and will be a part of an exciting project where your skills and experience will be key in succeeding more work for on-going opportunities!
- Main Duties
- Develop project schedules in consultation with project team leads
- Prepare, revise and communicate scheduling procedures as necessary to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting
- Ensure all activities within the Project scope of work are included in schedules
- Production of basis of schedule documents for Sustain Capital Projects
- Updating the project plan throughout the project lifecycle
- Regularly update the project resource plan and discuss peaks and throughs with the Project Engineer and site planning teams
- Manage progress reporting against the programme
- Operate change control in line with the project contract requirements
- Recommend internal project control process improvements, sequencing strategies and undertake quality checks
- Provide client performance data and reports as required
- Ensure that project schedule decisions can be made based upon accurate and timely schedule and progress performance information
- Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this position, you must possess resource industry experience along with :
- 5 years relevant industry experience, including workplace planning experience
- Knowledge and expertise of workface planning practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the operations of the project.
- Seasoned communication & coordination skills.
- A fine attention to detail and compliance
- Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
