- Position Summary
This position requires the ability to solve equipment problems and perform complex system tests. Creative thinking skills and the ability to communicate well to other members of the development team will enable your success in the role. This position is suited to a diligent personality that is comfortable working with details.
Key ResponsibilitiesComputer hardware imaging, back-up and recovery activitiesSolve and run Hyper-convergence tools and platforms, Alcatel PABX Telephone System and our in-house Security system (Access Card System)Provide in-house support for End UsersPC / Laptop installation, configuration and Break fixSolve LAN, WAN and VPN connectivityMounting / Un-mounting Hardware in data center (Switch, Routers, Servers, etc.)Data center daily routine check and maintaining data center health checklist register.Solve O365 / Exchange issuesWork in a regulated Environment.Operations / service delivery and ability to handle critical situations with minimum supervisionAssist with issues associated local IT systems.Ensure all work is performed in guidelines of site procedures and EH&S requirements.Participate in Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) exercises.Carryout / participate in technical investigations.Complete QA deviation investigations as required.Minimum Requirements / QualificationsQualifications & ExperienceBachelors / Masters education in ITNetworking / server management related certificationUnderstanding of SCADA systemsSkills & AttributesAt least 2 years working experience in similar positionDemonstrable record of ability to work as a team member and independently as required.Experience in multitasking, prioritizing and showing initiative to complete tasks according to company objectives.A track record showing good oral and written communication skillsOther Job RequirementsAdhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.This job is complex as it coordinates many aspects of IT / automation systems in order to maintain site GMP requirements and financial targets.Nice to have - know how in relation to laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and building management system (BMS).Your position may require you to participate in on call work. If you are on call you are required to be available for immediate return to work outside of your normal and regular work pattern.
