Base salary will be in the range $80,523.29 - $89,505.38 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)

About This Opportunity The school's vision for the Business Postgraduate Program Services and Support Officer is to be a recognised, responsive, and valued partner, providing high-quality advisory services to students across Business Postgraduate programs including the MBA to support the realisation of their academic and professional aspirations within an environment of learning excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking the day-to-day admission and advisory functions for the Graduate Management Discipline. You will enhance the student experience to strengthen engagement with, and between, the client / student, alumni, industry partner and UQ communities.
Key responsibilities will include :
Provide timely, accurate, and student-focused advice and support for future and current postgraduate Business students (including MBA), responding to enquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations, and ensuring follow-up and systems updates as appropriate
Engage proactively with students throughout their academic journey, offering guidance on program structures, course selection, credit / exemption requests, and academic progress planning
Support students experiencing academic or personal difficulties by providing appropriate advice and assisting with intervention strategies, show cause processes, and learning agreements
Collaborate with the Student & Academic Administration team to generate and maintain the programs timetable as required; coordinate the operational delivery of courses, including room allocations, academic support, electronic course profiles, and teaching commitments
Prepare reports and provide regular feedback on enquiry volumes, application trends, enrolment statistics, and student engagement metrics
Actively contribute to student engagement initiatives by attending and participating in postgraduate marketing events, orientation sessions, and information evenings some of which may occur outside of standard business hours
Represent the School in a professional and approachable manner, fostering strong relationships with students, academic staff, and external stakeholders
Perform other duties as reasonably directed by the supervisor in line with the strategic and operational goals of the School.

About You An undergraduate degree, or Diploma with relevant work experience in Higher Education admissions and advisory services, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education / training
Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to service excellence
Demonstrated ability to prioritise own workload, work independently, and meet deadlines, while contributing positively within a high-performing team to successfully achieve business outcomes
High-level communication skills, including effective listening and the ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, and industry partners
A proactive and approachable attitude, with a genuine interest in student engagement and a willingness to participate in events and social activities that foster a sense of community among students and stakeholders
Experience managing student expectations within a policy-driven environment.
