DescriptionThe opportunityHow you will make an impactYou will collaborate closely with the HUB HSE and Sustainability Manager to provide strategic direction in the country, bringing rigor through operational discipline, in line with the Service BU strategy and Hitachi Energy's requirements.You will drive HSE legal compliance and control the conformity, provide strong leadership to promote a high-performance culture, role modeling and reinforcing the behaviors that will underpin Service business growth, act as a change management agent, serving as the Technical Authority.You will contribute to effective risk management of HSE related issues by providing specialist knowledge, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for Environmental data for the local service unit to be consolidated into the Service BU reporting and to the Sustainability reporting of Hitachi Energy.You will ensure timely notification of HSE incidents, investigations, preventive and corrective actions and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensure safe execution of service activities by being involved in the project planification, preparation and execution.You will visit sites activities to ensure compliance with HE's HSE and customer's requirements, lead / review investigations of HSE incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and if necessary, the Fair Process investigations.You will foster a proactive and positive culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance by implementing the best practices and innovative solutions, promote Hitachi Energy HSE and Sustainability culture to our clients, other departments and employee groups, manage and develop the HSE Specialists supporting the LSU & ability to frequently travel for periodic site visits, audits, workshops, trainings.Living Hitachi Energy's core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundYou hold an engineering degree or a bachelor's degree in HSE required (engineering can be in any discipline if supported by proven HSE experience).Minimum of 10 years of strong HSE experience, preferably in high-risk industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, or related fields.Proven expertise in risk assessment, mitigation planning, high-risk activities mgmt.Experience in leading HSE projects, fostering safety culture, and implementing innovative solutions and best practices.Service experience is not mandatory but will be considered a plus.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
