- About the Role
We are looking for an individual with a passion for precision and craftsmanship who wants to contribute to innovative fabrication projects. The position will be reporting to our Workshop Manager, and the duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to :
Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture and weld metal components for IAC Acoustics products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Interpret and understand technical drawings, plans, and manuals.Operate tools and machinery necessary to carry out your duties.Perform some lifting and handling of materials.Follow guidance and instructions from Senior Staff members.Create IAC Acoustics products based on drawings or instructions provided by the Foreman and Operations Manager.Work closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet client specifications.Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized work area.Report any unsafe practices to the Operations Manager as soon as possible.Work in line with the IAC Acoustics Quality Assurance system and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.Inspect finished metal products for accuracy and quality, ensuring all parts meet required specifications.Regularly maintain and care for workshop equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.Adhere to established safety protocols and work instructions.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Fabricators must have TIG welding experience.Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, and arc welding) and experience with various fabrication techniques.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and precision.Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions during the fabrication process.Understanding of safety procedures and best practices in a metal fabrication workshop.Capable of working both independently and as part of a teamOther detailsJob TypeFull Time, PermanentSalaryAUD 75,000per year plus superannuation (based on skills and experience)Pay : $75,000.00 per year
