Perseus Mining is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of the Nyanzaga Gold Project.

Based in our Perth office just 400m from Subiaco Train Station, this 18-month contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of East Africa’s most exciting gold developments.

As a newly created position, the Senior Project Engineer will report to the Project Delivery Manager and act as a key interface between our Perth team and the site in Tanzania. This role is ideal for an experienced project engineer with a background in mining and construction who thrives in dynamic, delivery-focused environments.

• Support the Project Delivery Manager with contractor coordination, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and overall project controls, including reporting and performance tracking.
• Monitor output quality and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support during execution, addressing queries and constructability challenges.
• Contribute to plant commissioning and manage design changes, site variations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Undertake occasional site visits to Tanzania to assess progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment between Perth-based planning and site execution.

This position is based in Perseus’s Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 60 employees and growing. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
