Job descriptionInstall, configure, and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix servers and systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Maintain system security through access controls, firewalls, and antivirus software. Automate routine tasks using shell scripts, PowerShell, or other scripting tools. Collaborate with network engineers, developers, and other IT staff to support infrastructure needs. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Provide 24 / 7 support for critical systems as needed (on-call rotation may apply). 3+ years of experience in system administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Proficiency in shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Microsoft Certified : Windows Server Administrator Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent Office-based May require occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance or emergencies
