IT Procurement Advisor

Mars Recruitment is looking for a seasoned procurement professional with a passion for IT and Security procurement. The role will manage contracts, advise stakeholders, and drive value-for-money outcomes in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering and contract documentation.

Advise internal stakeholders on procurement strategy to ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and PGPA Act.

Support negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes.

Oversee contract management for high-value or strategic contracts.

Maintain accurate procurement and contract records, procedures, and data.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote cost efficiency and innovation.

Key Requirements :

3-5+ years' experience managing end-to-end procurement activities, particularly in IT and / or Security.

Strong understanding of procurement legislation, frameworks, and best practices.

Preferred experience in contract management.

Excellent time management, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Proficient with Excel and procurement systems.

Relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded.

Must be an Australian citizen (mandatory).

Ability to undergo and obtain a National Police Check and meet security clearance requirements.
