- Practice Manager
- to join their team based in Mt Gravatt to help achieve their plans for development.
- About the Role
As you work as this healthcare provider's Practice Manager, you will be accountable for the provision of expert management services within the clinic. These services include management of operational processes, staff and practitioners; and delivering outstanding customer service for patients and commercial clients, pharmacies and clinical practitioners.
You'll lead a supportive team and report to the Operations Manager who will also be there to guide you as you settle into your role. Ideally you will be someone who can maintain a high level of professionalism, lead and manage a team, is personable by nature, and has great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsibilities
Some for your responsibilities will include :
- Delivering quality patient experiences and achieving high customer satisfaction
- Management of rosters
- Recruitment, induction, and training of Customer Service staff and practitioners
- Development and maintenance of appropriate human resources systems and policy
- Management and reconciliation of financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance for the maintenance of patient records, referrals, prescription management
- Undertake analysis of business issues and make decisions
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with government legislation and regulation
- Develop appropriate strategies for change
- Maintain knowledge of impending changes to the political, economic, legislative and physical environments of a telehealth virtual care practice
- Develop new policies and procedures as work practices are improved and evolved.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Previous management and leadership experience in the health sector (general practice or pharmacy)
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to devise and review systems for operational efficiency and control
- Skills in staff management and business reporting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and Medicare (desirable, not mandatory)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks as required
- Knowledge of administrative employment conditions
- Autonomous decision making, particularly in relation to resolving patient and practitioner issuesExcellent time management skills
