Projects Coordinator (Freight Forwarding) - Fixed

DB Schenker is seeking a driven

• Projects Coordinator (Freight Forwarding)
• to join our growing team in
• High Wycombe, Perth,
• initially this will be on a
• 12-month fixed term
• basis but may become full time depending on business requirements and growth. As a key player in shaping the success of our freight forwarding operations, you'll be responsible for coordinating project shipments and day-to-day operations, including preparing quotes, collaborating with the project management team, and supporting our clients with a high level of customer service.
• You Will Take On
• Preparing quotes for air & ocean freight, out-of-gauge, domestic land transport, tenders and projects
• Performing day-to-day operations of international and domestic project shipment, including delivery
• Collaborating with the project management team to develop strategies and activities for new and existing clients
• Timely and correct invoicing of final charges to our customers
• Continuous improvement initiatives relating to systems and order tracking
• About you
• Previous experience in Cross Trade and / or Projects (highly desirable)
• General knowledge (min 5 years) in imports and exports procedures and customs
• Strong customer service skills and high-service orientation
• Solid communication skills, including the ability to interpret instructions, construct effective memo's and contribute to team discussion.
• Good numerical skills
