In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them to lead fulfilling, independent lives.What you'll be doingAssist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasksFacilitate community access and social inclusion by accompanying clients on outings and activitiesProvide personalised support to help clients achieve their goals and maximise their independenceImplement client-specific support plans and contribute to their ongoing developmentMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and proceduresCollaborate with the broader care team to ensure a cohesive, high-quality serviceWhat we're looking forA genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to making a positive difference in their livesRelevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent preferredExperience providing person-centred care and support a plus, preferably in a disability or aged care settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectivelyResourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a teamA current driver's licence and reliable vehicleWhat we offerAt Careworks Disability Support, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace that empowers our employees to thrive.
