It's important to know what you do matters. At Zurich, we don't just cover, we care.

We have a great opportunity to join our Retail Life Insurance team as an Underwriter on a 12-month contract.

You will develop and maintain relationships with our key advisers, managing a designated adviser panel effectively. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will provide technical advice and support, ensuring underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to all cases received, including applications and pre-assessments.

Important to your success - Unlock your potential

• Extensive experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high-level individual underwriting authorities.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement in dynamic environments.
• Customer-focused mindset with solutions-driven approach.
• Completion of medical terminology course.
• ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications are strongly desired.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
