About the Role
The IT Officer position is a critical role within the IT department, responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service abilities.
Duties
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of requests and problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor and enforce IT security measures to protect data and systems. Monitor and maintain access control, endpoint protection and backup solutions.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and software.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations and installations.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Certificate 4 in relevant field.Minimum 2 years' experience in similar IT related role.Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows server, Networking, and Azure.In-depth knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware.Ability to empathize with users and provide solutions that meet their needs.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues.A commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.National Police Check.Driver's Licence.Evidence of work rights.Travel between work sites on a regular basis.Preferrable
