As an Environmental Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Site HSE Manager to ensure environmental monitoring, reporting, and compliance requirements are met, reduce environmental risks, and promote a culture of sustainability. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and a proactive mindset, particularly within industrial or manufacturing environments.

What you'll do Investigate and close out environmental incidents and complaints.Compile and submit regulatory reports (Annual Return, NPI, NGER, etc.).Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO standards.Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE systems and tools.Engage with community stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Provide coaching and leadership to promote environmental awareness and best practices.Assist in planning and preparing for external audits and reviews.Maintain accurate environmental data and documentation.What You Will Bring A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.Proven experience in the pulp and paper industry or similar manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO HSE Management Systems.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Confidence in liaising with regulators, consultants, and community groups.A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.What you'll love when you join us Sustainability : Contribute to sustainability initiatives that make a difference.Supportive Environment : Be part of a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration.Career Growth : Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the companyReady to make a difference?
