As a leader, you will also use your skills to drive strategic change, improve productivity, and foster a high-performance culture.This role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.Our teamThe Higher Education division in Australia focusses on supporting learners and educators in tertiary studies with qualitycourseware and innovative digital learning solutions.Skills and ExperienceRecruit, coach, develop, and retaina high performing sales team that delivers against strategic OKRs and tactical KPIsLead the development of strategic business plans to maximise sales activities in alignment with business prioritiesDirectly manage key university accounts through field sales activities, including identifying new leads, working with leads to understand needs, and advising on Pearson solutions to meet customer needsDevelop strategic relationships with university educators, as well as other key university stakeholderChampion best practice in knowledge management activities, driving efficiency through the use of CRM systemsInspire, drive, and collaborate with the Sales and broader Higher Education teams within Pearson, fostering a high-performance culture, to deliverexceptional outcomes for our customers and for the businessWhat you will ideally have5+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development, with a demonstrabletrack record of driving business growthProven ability to lead, inspire and engage a high performing team that is geographically dispersedResults-oriented professional with a high degree of personal accountability and integrityExperience in leveraging CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) to drive sales efficiency and effectivenessBachelor's degree is requiredKnowledge of the higher education sector is desired, but not essentialOur opportunities need innovative thinkers to drive the business forward.
