Corinda State High School is looking for an Administration Officer to join our dynamic administration team.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined.
Located in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane, our school is home to 2000+ students, and this busy role is pivotal to our success. We look forward to welcoming you to the Corinda Team.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The Role
Main Duties Include :
Coordinate and support extracurricular activities, clubs and events associated with the library such as book clubs, writing competitions, lunchtime activities and themed displays.Organise and deliver library orientations, student workshops and staff professional learning relating to the library as required.Maintain and develop physical and digital library collections, ensuring resources are current, relevant and aligned with curriculum and student interests.Use library management systems, digital catalogues and databases to track inventory, generate reports, and improve service delivery.Maintain professional knowledge of library trends, educational technology and resource development to support continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, privacy and departmental policy requirements related to resource use and distribution.Facilitate partnerships with external organisations, authors and local libraries to enhance library offerings.

Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of systems and processes in accordance with DoE processes and proceduresBe able to multitask and prioritise within tight timeframesAbility to rapidly gain knowledge of systems and processes in accordance with DoE processes and proceduresWilling team player with a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications required for this position, it would be highly desirable for the successful applicant to possess :
Diploma of Library and Information Services (BSB50520) or Certificate IV in Library and Information Services (BSB40720) or equivalent.
