The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to some of Perth's most exclusive gala dinners and events, large scale conferences to small boardroom meetings, corporate events, exciting exhibitions, weddings and theatre performances.

• The role

The purpose of the Logistics Coordinator is to provide back-of house logistics and distribution support to the Operations team for all incoming goods including the distribution of food and beverage items to outlets as required and to provide logistics support for event bump in and out for clients through our admin loading dock and our pavilions.

Key is to understand the importance to all safety instructions, policies and procedures.

The demands of this role include the ability to be on your feet for the majority of your shift and involves a high level of manual handling. A capacity to deal with the stress of a fast-paced environment is essential. Flexibility will be key - a willingness to work a variety of shifts, perform a variety of job tasks and duties and take direction from various supervisory personnel to assist PCEC complies with all service delivery obligations.

• Qualifications
• Required to hold a current Forklift license for this role.
• HR Drivers licence preferred but not essential.
• Experience
• A background in Logistics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years forklift experience in stadium / warehouse environment is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness when operating the forklift.
