The Intelligence Assessment Manager within the Data Analytics, Intelligence, Investigative Support and Recoveries Directorate (DAIISR) will contribute to effective business decision making through the analysis of integrity related data.
The duties will include, but are not limited to :
Delivering quality intelligence assessment products, briefs and submissions to senior leadershipLeading research and analysis on Defence fraud control and related integrity priorities to support the Defence mission.Providing clear direction to ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks, including information management processes.Managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.Building and sustaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored intelligence assessments.About our TeamThe Intelligence function within DAIISR produces and disseminate timely, relevant, accurate and actionable intelligence assessments that :
Support Defence to identify, assess and understand current and emerging trends and patterns related to fraud, corruption and integrity.Determine the implications of the trends and patterns, and the threats they pose to Defence.Provides recommendations to prevent and reduce the risk of fraud, corruption and integrity breaches. Build and maintain productive relationships across the Defence enterprise, with government agencies and other relevant institutions and entities that support the development of timely, relevant and accurate intelligence assessment products.We are seeking a motivated individual who has demonstrated experience in the intelligence discipline and / or data analyst role, with :
Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of and experience in managing and interpreting large volumes of data or an aptitude to learn the skills and techniques required.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work within and across teams, and adapt quickly to a changing environment.Ability to prioritise tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.Ability to manage and lead a diverse team.
