Job descriptionThe OpportunityOn behalf of a Government Agency, we are looking for APS3 Client Service Officer(s) based in Melbourne. This is a 6 month assignment working full time in the office, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- As the APS3 Client Service Officer you will;
- Provide a direct service to clients, including the veteran community and providers to support the delivery of medical, allied health or dental treatment, home care services and community nursing.
- Organise provision of rehabilitation aids and appliances
- Process client reimbursements for medical expenses privately incurred and manual health payment
- The above duties may involve;
- answering telephone queries from contracted health providers as rostered and ad hoc (call centre environment phone queues)
- processing requests for treatment and exercising delegations where appropriate
- preparing routine correspondence and articulate written determination letters that are clear to ensure clarity of decisions
- capturing and recording data
- checking eligibility for reimbursements
- liaising with internal staff
- To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;
- Experience in administration, call centre and / or customer / service delivery environment
- Ability to pick up IT systems
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorites
- Strong communication skills
