The role of the genU
Team Leaderis to provide leadership and operational management to our shared supported accommodation homes, ensuring an empowering and enabling environment for people with disabilities, whilst maximising opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles that are valued by the wider community.As the
Team Leaderyou will;Proactively promote a welcoming, home like environment for residents and a strong work culture for staffImplement a partnership in care approach to enable optimal health and wellbeing for residentsDevelop, review and accurately maintain all resident care / support plans in conjunction with residents, families and other service providersUndertake program planning and monitoringEnsure person centred approach is embedded within the facilities cultureYou will join a collaborative and supportive team, who will provide individualised training so you can best support our varied cohort of residents.
About YouThe ideal
Team Leaderis an exceptional leader and communicator who can easily develop and maintain rapport with people of all abilities. You will be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management skills.You will have the following :
Significant experience delivering services in the disability industry,Complex behavioural care experience is preferred;A strong active support and inclusion focus;Experience in providing remote team support to staff;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Proficient computer skills including data base systems and MS Office suite.You will also meet the following essential requirements :
Minimum Cert IV in Disability Studies or equivalent;Current First AidCertificate II Level and CPR certificate;Current Working with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS endorsement or willingness to obtain;Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;All applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Procedure.
