Procurement Officer

Join a team that delivers smart, efficient procurement and purchasing across council. We're looking for a practical, organised Procurement Officer to support staff with contracts, procurement and day-to-day purchasing.

• Key responsibilities
• Support staff with purchasing processes and system queries (OneCouncil)
• Manage council's procurement portal (VendorPanel) and contractor records
• Assist with tenders, contracts and supplier arrangements
• Provide advice on procurement rules and procedures
• Monitor stationery, printing and related budgets
• Deliver training and support on procurement processes
• Help maintain accurate records and systems
• About you
• Experience in procurement, purchasing and / or finance
• Good understanding of procurement principles
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• What we offer you
• Base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
• Permanent / full-time
• Monthly rostered day off
