The branch's responsibilities include finance, procurement, secretariat, compliance and administrative corporate services.The Role : The Procurement Officer supports the Procurement Manager, CFO and Finance in providing advice and support across the branch for procurement activities.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to : Provide advice and support to staff regarding procurement activities, in accordance with the Australian Government's procurement policy framework and organisation's Accountability InstructionsProvide procurement and / or probity advice in support of the development of requests for quotes and contractsUndertake regulatory reportingDevelop and update procurement templates, policies and guidance as requiredParticipate in Quote and / or Tender Evaluation Committees as neededAssist with financial duties as requiredAssist in preparing monthly finance reportsAs required, provide Probity Advice on procurementProvide training and support in SAP ESSThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following : Demonstrated understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework, specifically the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Procurement Rules in relation to a Prescribed Corporate Entity.Demonstrated high level organisational skills including time management, prioritising tasks to meet competing deadlines and the capacity to achieve objectives with minimal supervision within a team environmentDemonstrated ability to use a Financial Management Information System g.
