This position will be temporary, up to 6 months and based in the CBD.General Responsibilities : Provide hands-on management expertise and advice on complex procurement mattersAnalyse demand and spend data, working with group and division managers to identify requirements and opportunities for cost savings and supply chain optimisationEnsure procurement advice is consistent with relevant legislations and regulations Maintain, innovate & disseminate procurement policies and procedures.Identify, develop, and implement strategic improvement practices, systems, and procedures to deliver best practice in procurement.Maintain relationships with internal and external strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity, and transparency requirements are addressed.Deliver high quality procurement advice and services covering procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management including sound Category Management functions and administration activities.Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems Experience : The management of end-to-end procurement with an emphasis on partnering with stakeholders to achieve outcomesProvide procurement, tendering, contract management and probity advice to staff at all levels across the organisationAssist with the development of procurement plansRecord and data management of tendering and contract related documentationEnd-to-end coordination of the tendering function from review of RFQ / RFT documents through the tender evaluation through to contract executionAbility to seek continuous improvement and refinement of a procurement framework tailored to staff needs.
