- Financial Management and Reporting
- team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - AFC Services and working as part of our Engineering Solution Delivery team, you will lead a diverse team of highly talented engineers in their pursuit of developing and delivering the financial management and reporting services of the Pulse Platform.

The role requires someone who puts the needs of their team - both collectively and individually - first, working with the Product Owner to realise the delivery plan. We're looking for someone who is technically strong, with excellent communication skills and the ability to both lead the team while also collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the globe.

You have a passion for helping people fulfil their potential, provide mentorship, and have the ability and willingness to impart knowledge and guidance to your team members through excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.You can autonomously lead a team to successful outcomes for the team and customersStrong knowledge of AWS services and SaaS software engineering practicesGood analytical and practical problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills - written and verbal.Demonstrated experience delivering software using Agile delivery processes.Confidence in your ability to influence others when supporting customer escalations or delivery risks.Advantageous if you have previous financial, data management or reporting experienceWhat will you be responsible for?Leading a team of engineers in defining, understanding and breaking down customer requirements as part of the Agile planning process.Forming relationships with your individual direct reports, to understand their individual roles, skill sets, strengths, and challenges in order to encourage their growth and development.Work with the Product Owner to establish priority of new design and issue resolution.Participate in and / or lead technical discussions for discovery and design of solutions, encouraging productive collaboration within and beyond the teamAssist the Engineering Manager and Product Owner in capacity planning and preparation of upcoming sprints.Facilitate workshops and team discussions.Help coordinate the team collaborate with other teams within Vix - as well as partners outside of the organisation.Identify risks and resolve issues during the project life cycle.What's in it for you?Besides the opportunity to work for a global company that is customer and people focused.
