Job Description

• Oversee the organisation's financial operations and reporting processes.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to optimise resource allocation.
• Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management to align financial planning with strategic objectives.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and assess financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have :

• A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
• Relevant qualifications such as a CPA or CA accreditation.
• Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.
• Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements and financial legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
