Meat Packers & General Hands Wanted

Chandler Macleod are seeking experienced Packers for a long term career opportunity, located in Reservoir (Northern Suburbs). Our client is an Australian successful meat manufacturing company, supplying products to several restaurants and organisations.

Currently offering Day Shifts with an ongoing roster Monday to Friday, with an occasional Saturday shift. All shifts are 10 hours starting from 4am and ending at 2pm.

Packer rates starting at $28+ p / h plus overtime penalties. No experience required.

To be successful in this role you must be willing to be trained & complete the required tasks :

• Picking and packing meat products
• Labeling
• Sort products from conveyor belts to specific orders by size and type
• Palletize and relocate products with the aid of a Pallet Jack
• General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.

Previous experience in meat processing, picking, packing or laboring is preferred but not essential.

Casual with full-time hours, you will be expected to work a minimum of 5 days a week. There are opportunities to progress to perm for the right person.

You must be comfortable to be working at a meat manufacturing company and with Beef, Pork & Lamb products.
