About the Role :

Contribute to the development and execution of AGL's energy transition strategy by managing the commercial and strategic workstreams of AGL's low carbon generation growth opportunities including potential acquisitions, and the disciplined development of existing generation project opportunities.

The role is responsible for the commercial development of high capital value generation projects ($100m - $1.5b) for submission to AGL Board and / or financiers.

What you'll be doing :

Project Development

• Co-ordinate and manage internal and external resources and contractors through the implementation of complex power development projects within the NEM to meet time and cost forecasts.
• Assist with the development of procurement and commercial strategies to assist with the development of power projects within allocated timeframes whilst maximising commercial outcomes for the AGL.
• Contribute to the negotiation of high value contracts for project acquisition, power plant construction, transmission connection, real estate, consultancies, and other agreements necessary to deliver power projects.
• Manage contracts with external consultants and contractors for the delivery of development and due diligence activities.
• Identify, manage, and report on key risks and issues.
