Birch & Waite is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Victoria sales division, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in Melbourne CBD that align with our company's strategic goals.

What you'll be doingProactively identify and pursue new business leads within your target marketBuild and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, tracking all interactions and progressPrepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to potential clientsNegotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional customer service and supportContinuously research the market, competitors and industry trends to uncover new opportunitiesContribute to the development and implementation of the company's sales strategyWhat you bringProven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the sales or B2B services industryExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to tailor your approach to different stakeholdersStrong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of our products and servicesProactive and self-motivated with the drive to exceed sales targets and KPIsProficient in using CRM software and sales enablement toolsTertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experienceWhy join Birch & WaiteShape Australia's Food Culture
