This is your opportunity to shape the future of our housing pathway — leading growth while ensuring responsive, inclusive, and sustainable property and tenancy management for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.You'll drive a proactive, positive culture and help ensure the financial sustainability of our housing programs in line with our broader strategic goals.What You'll BringTo thrive in this role, you'll need to show : Proven leadership and management experience, including team development, performance management, and fostering professional growth.Strong ability to build and lead high-performing teams that provide safe, high-quality services.A track record of meeting contract deliverables and driving strategic outcomes.Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills — internally and externally.Strong relationship-building capabilities and a well-established professional network.Confidence managing tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality.A talent for streamlining systems, identifying inefficiencies, and leading operational improvements.Sound resource planning skills to ensure efficient, effective program delivery.Experience managing compliance across a range of frameworks, including : Community Housing Regulatory FrameworkProperty headlease agreementsNational Safety and Quality Mental Health Standards for Community Managed OrganisationsExperience with budget oversight and financial accountability across service areas.Demonstrated ability to lead effective workforce planning, including recruitment and staff retention.Experience working with funders, government bodies, and partners to maintain funding and compliance.What You'll NeedRelevant tertiary qualifications or 5+ years of sector experience.At least 5 years' experience in people management, including performance, development, and remuneration.At least 5 years managing service delivery, financial oversight, and risk and stakeholder management.Previous experience working with or within government housing agencies (highly regarded).Current National Police ClearanceA valid WA driver's licenceWhy Join Uniting WA?We exist to inspire people, enliven communities, and confront injustice.We make an impact by addressing the underlying causes of disadvantage and building a just society where everyone is valued and connected.
